You're starting fresh, so start small. Look through the book for the moments you have all the time... the night your mind won't quit, the day you absorb everyone else's mood, the thing you've been putting off all week. Pick 3 or 4 of those and make them. Then they're sitting there ready.

The questions I get asked most
"How many drops?"
This may be the question I get the most. Most recipes and advice out there just say "a few drops" and leave you wondering. Every recipe in Moment by Moment lists exactly how many drops of each essential oil go in a 10 ml roller. And if you want or need a gentler blend, for kids or for skin that reacts, there's a chart up front that shows you how to change the strength.
"Do I need to own all the essential oils?"
No. Most of these are built on the common ones... lavender, frankincense, bergamot, geranium, grapefruit. A few call for something less common, and that's a nice excuse to try a new essential oil, which is half the fun.
"I'm new to crystals. Is this for me?"
Yes, and I think you'll like it. It's a lovely way in. Instead of just reading about crystals, you start using them, one bottle at a time, each one with a real purpose. Every recipe tells you which crystal and why, so along the way you learn what each one is for and which ones you're drawn to.
